Lakeland Credit Union at forefront of enhancing member’s online banking experience

Lakeland Credit Union (LCU) is at the forefront of enhancing their member’s online experience with their new online banking and website transformation. This May 4th launch included a more modern and user-friendly website, a versatile online banking system and customizable Android/iPhone apps.  

‘Our members will find numerous enhancements to their previous online banking capabilities with this new platform,’ says John Peters, LCU’s Chief Executive Officer. ‘We were very fortunate to work co-operatively with other credit unions that migrated prior to Lakeland – their experiences contributed significantly to our successful launch.’

The online banking platform was created with member experience at the forefront. Lakeland worked in collaboration with Celero, a Canadian solutions integrator, and ebankIT, a global digital banking software developer.

‘As we move forward in building Lakeland Credit Union’s new banking experience, designing a Credit Union for the 2020s and beyond, there are many new things still to come,’ say Peters.  ‘We’re always looking to innovate and improve our technology and services to bring our members the best and most secure online experience possible.’
