Covid-19 Statement

With COVID-19 on everyone’s mind, we wanted to reach out and give you an update on Lakeland’s commitment to our Members and employees. As news comes in, we are monitoring information from Canadian public health and Government authorities, and taking the steps needed to reduce risk.

Protecting our Members and employees
Our branch locations are currently open, and we’ll be here when you need us. Alternatively, online banking and ATMs are available 24/7. With any of these safe and easy options, you can:
  • View account balances, transfer funds and pay bills
  • Send and receive money with Interac e-Transfer
  • Deposit cheques with your phone

Get more information on how to sign up for online banking here.

Advisors are available if you need to see someone in person; however, phone or video conferencing are strongly encouraged to connect while reducing risk.

The well-being of our Members and employees is a priority for us. Our employees are informed and taking precautions to protect themselves and those they serve. Increased cleaning practices in branches and corporate offices will ensure that surfaces and high traffic areas are clean, with alcohol-based sanitizer at the ready wherever possible.

Given the risks with COVID-19, we have to be mindful of the more vulnerable among us, and do our part to reduce risks for the greater community.  With this in mind, we respectfully ask Members to take extra caution. If you are feeling unwell, please contact your health care provider before coming into the branch.

Supporting our Members
If you’re directly impacted by COVID-19 and facing financial challenges as a result, we want to help. We encourage you to reach out to your Lakeland advisor, or call one of our branches. We look forward to working together to create solutions that can ease the financial burden our membership may be experiencing.
