Annual General Meeting & Staff Awards
On March 5, 2024, we hosted our Annual General Meeting where the 2024 fiscal year was reviewed, the results of director elections were announced, and employee service awards were acknowledged.
Years of Service Recipients
Congratulations to Shirley Bamber for celebrating 25 years with LCU and to Crystal Jacobson with 20 years, Kassandra Fransen with 10 years, and Estelle Ruel with 10 years.
Award Recipients
Matt Carswell was named the recipient of the Corporate Spirit Award. Matt is a well-known member in the community, volunteering countless hours with many different organizations throughout the Lakeland including: Bonnyville Ag Society, Bonnyville 4-H District, Ardmore Duck Race, Beaver River Fish & Game and Cherry Grove Rec and Ag Society.
Sam Sheppard was named the recipient of the Community Spirit Award. Since joining LCU in 2023, Sam has consistently volunteered his time for LCU Events and Initiatives.
Taking home the Board of Director's Distinction Award was Susan Urichuk-Roth and Kim McRae. Congratulations to both of them!
